We're looking for an experienced T2 / Second Line IT Field Technician to join our team and hit the ground running. In this role, you'll provide onsite Second Line IT support across schools within approx. one hour commute to SG4, helping staff keep systems running smoothly and ensuring our customers receive the excellent service they expect. You'll be part of a forward-thinking, rapidly growing IT company headquartered in Wolverhampton. Duties: - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for computer hardware, software, and network-related issues - Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals - Set up and manage user accounts and access permissions - Monitor and analyse network performance, including VPN, LAN, DNS, and Firewall - Collaborate with team members to resolve IT issues and implement solutions - Document and track support tickets using our ticketing system, Freshdesk - Assist with software installations and updates - Conduct daily system maintenance tasks, such as backups and updates, PLEASE NOTE: Although our head office is based in Wolverhampton, this role is based in school/s. Therefore, you will not be expected to travel to our Wolverhampton office to carry out your duties. However, there will be occasions where you will be required to attend the office.
