## About the Role

* At least 3 years of hands-on backend development experience, including recent production coding and shipping.
 * Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js, including asynchronous programming.
 * Experience with PostgreSQL and ORM-based data access, such as Drizzle or a similar tool.
 * Experience building backend services with Next.js, including API routes or server components.
 * Familiarity with distributed systems and building scalable, maintainable core services.
 * Experience integrating Stripe payments and billing workflows.
 * Strong computer science fundamentals gained through formal education or equivalent practical experience, with evidence of notable technical achievement.
 * Fluency in German at C1 level or above, strong communication skills, and an ownership mindset.

## Description

Join the core infrastructure team at an early-stage energy technology company building systems for dynamic electricity plans and reliable billing. You will help develop the backend services and infrastructure that support complex energy market and accounting workflows., * Design backend solutions that simplify billing and energy market operations.

 * Scale core infrastructure to support increasing transaction volumes and changing market demands.
