 * 4+ years of database engineering or DBA experience.

 * Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server in a production environment.
\n

 * Experience with SQL Server performance tuning, Always On or similar HA/DR, backups, recovery, and security.
\n

 * Strong knowledge of SQL, T-SQL, and PL/pgSQL.
\n

 * Experience moving databases between platforms or into the cloud.
\n

 * Experience with PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting.

 * Strong understanding of data security and data accuracy.
\n

 * Able to explain database issues and recommendations clearly.
\n

 * Good communication and documentation skills.
\n

 * Comfortable using data to make decisions.
\n

 * Four-year technical degree, or equivalent work experience.
\n

 * Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check.
\n, * Experience with Amazon RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL, AWS DMS, or Babelfish.

 * Experience with change data capture (CDC) and data pipelines.
\n

 * Experience with multi-tenant databases and tenant data separation.

 * Experience in financial services or other regulated industries.

 * Knowledge of PCI-DSS or SOC 2.
