## About the Role

* Hands-on CICS Transaction Server administration on IBM z/OS
 * CICS installation, upgrades, PTF application, and maintenance
 * Configuration and support of CICS regions
 * Knowledge of DFHSIT and CICS system initialization parameters
 * Performance monitoring and troubleshooting
 * Ability to analyze transaction response time, CPU utilization, and storage usage
 * Willingness to work onsite three days per week

Preferred experience:

 * Experience supporting production, test, and DR CICS environments
 * Experience with OMEGAMON, MainView, or TMON
 * CICS performance tuning and bottleneck elimination

Pay Range: $65/hr - $70/hr

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
