## About the Role

* Technical degree or equivalent work experience
 * Strong hands-on skills in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot

## Description

CBTS is seeking a Senior Java Backend Engineer to design, build, and modernize enterprise applications for a client in the financial services space. This is a hands-on engineering role for a senior developer who can operate with autonomy - driving technical solutions from requirements through deployment while collaborating with business and IT stakeholders., * Design application code, implement technical solutions, and configure applications across environments to solve business problems

 * Write applications to solve analytical and data-driven challenges
 * Own all phases of software engineering: requirements analysis, design, development, and testing
 * Design and implement reusable components, frameworks, and libraries in partnership with business and IT teams
 * Partner with strategic customers to containerize and modernize applications, applying containerization best practices
 * Code, test, release, and support production data and applications
 * Design software solutions for complex technical problems
 * Build and automate testing processes across solutions
 * Work independently, exercising the judgment and initiative expected of a senior-level engineer
