Insight Global is seeking a Software Engineer III to support the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) and Navy Training Baseline (NTB) product suite. This individual will support the design, development, integration, and sustainment of mission-critical modeling and simulation software that enables Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) Fleet training environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong Java development experience, thrive in Linux-based environments, and have a passion for building scalable software solutions that support Navy readiness and training objectives. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain Java-based software applications and distributed simulation systems. -Enhance and sustain Navy Training Baseline (NTB) products including JSAF, JBUS, RAVE, ERM, MDS, NEXUS, JMAC, CS3, and ATD. -Develop software solutions within Red Hat Linux environments using Java, JavaScript, shell scripting, and modern development
