## About the Role

* Proven experience in systems engineering with a strong background in software development and implementation within enterprise environments.
 * Hands-on knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices architecture, and enterprise solutions implementation.
 * Extensive experience working with database systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL databases; proficiency in SQL/T-SQL scripting is essential.
 * Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS or Azure along with virtualization technologies like VMware or ESXi.
 * Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components including networking (DNS, DHCP), firewalls, VPNs, load balancing techniques, and system administration tasks.
 * Skilled in scripting languages such as Bash or Shell Scripting for automation purposes; experience with version control tools like Git is required.
 * Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), DevOps practices, and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
 * Ability to perform technical troubleshooting support across diverse systems while maintaining clear cross-functional communication with stakeholders at all levels.

## Description

 * Analysis of existing enterprise applications and their technical architecture/components.
 * Identification and documentation of application interfaces and integrations.
 * Identification of upstream/downstream dependencies, databases, services, APIs, authentication services, batch processes, external systems, etc.
 * Analysis/documentation of data flows between applications and components.
 * Creation or maintenance of architecture diagrams, system-design documentation, interface documentation, dependency maps, application inventories, technical profiles, data-flow diagrams, or operational documentation.
 * Discovery/documentation of legacy or poorly documented applications.
 * Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into scalable system designs using principles of service-oriented architecture and solution architecture.
 * Develop, test, and implement software solutions utilizing programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
 * Manage system integration efforts involving APIs, web services (SOAP/REST), and middleware to connect diverse database systems like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL databases, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
 * Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to facilitate data migration and ensure data integrity across various database systems.
 * Conduct system troubleshooting and technical support for issues related to operating systems (Windows/Linux), network configurations (VPN, firewall), and virtualization environments (VMware, ESXi).
 * Collaborate with business analysts to perform requirements analysis and develop detailed documentation for system design and implementation strategies.
 * Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Git to streamline software development workflows.
