Education & Experience Required * High school diploma or GED required. Associate or bachelor's degree preferred. * Typically requires >8 years of progressively responsible experience supporting SCADA, HMI, industrial automation, OT, or comparable critical operational systems, including demonstrated ownership of complex troubleshooting, system changes, and cross-functional projects. Preferred * Experience with CygNet, Ignition, Wonderware/AVEVA, AutoSol Configuration Manager (ACM), or comparable SCADA platforms. * Experience with FlowCal, ProCount, measurement systems, environmental/regulatory reporting, or production accounting data flows. * Experience with SQL Server/SSMS, SQL, PowerShell, Python, Visual Studio, or related scripting/automation tools. * Windows Server administration, including Active Directory concepts, scheduled tasks, services, patching, performance monitoring, and backup/recovery. * Familiarity with OT/ICS security frameworks such as NIST SP 800-82 or IEC 62443., * Ability to sit for extended periods of time. * Ability to operate a computer, telephone, and other office equipment. * Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds. * Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. * Ability to navigate job sites. * Ability to use required personal protective equipment. ## Description The SCADA Application Analyst III is responsible for the design, implementation, reliability, security, and lifecycle support of BKV's supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), human-machine interface (HMI), and related operational technology (OT) systems. The role enables safe, reliable, and efficient upstream and midstream operations by maintaining highly available systems, accurate operational data, effective integrations, and disciplined incident and change management. This role partners closely with Operations, Automation, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Data & Analytics, and third-party vendors to deliver scalable, supportable SCADA solutions across multiple assets. The SCADA Application Analyst III independently resolves complex issues, may lead technical projects and improvements, and establishes support documentation and standards. Demonstrates integrity, accountability and transparency; upholds BKV standards, values and culture. Responsibilities * Partner with Operations, Automation, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and other IT teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable SCADA solutions that meet operational and business needs. * Implement, maintain, and support SCADA/HMI applications, related infrastructure, and integrations in accordance with BKV standards. * Own the operational health of assigned systems, including availability, performance, access management, patching, backups, recovery readiness, and lifecycle planning. * Lead troubleshooting, incident response, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions for SCADA, HMI, communications, and data-integration issues in partnership with upstream and midstream Operations. * Apply OT/ICS cybersecurity requirements, including secure network configuration, least-privilege access, vulnerability remediation, and support for audit and compliance needs. * Maintain and test disaster-recovery, business-continuity, system-configuration, and support documentation, including runbooks and network/data-flow diagrams. * Plan, test, communicate, implement, and document system releases, enhancements, and changes in accordance with change-control and work-tracking procedures. * Lead or contribute to SCADA modernization, integration, and optimization projects, including requirements, testing, cutovers, vendor coordination, and post-implementation support. * Ensure the quality and availability of SCADA data for operational, measurement, environmental/regulatory, and downstream reporting needs, including ProCount, FlowCal, data warehouse, Power BI, and Spotfire. * Communicate effectively regarding incidents, outages, changes, and new capabilities; participate in rotating on-call support and coordinate third-party vendor support as needed. * Analyze SCADA, operational, measurement, and system-performance data to identify data-quality issues, recurring operational trends, system constraints, and opportunities to improve reliability, production efficiency, and user workflows. * Develop and maintain data queries, reports, dashboards, and automated data-validation processes to support Operations, environmental/regulatory reporting, measurement, and downstream analytics platforms, including ProCount, FlowCal, data warehouse, Power BI, and Spotfire., * This position is based out of the BKV Office in Fort Worth, TX. May be eligible for remote or hybrid work. * Travel as needed to BKV worksites for server/OT equipment support.
