## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Configuration Management, Product Lifecycle Management, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
 * Typically 3 7 years of configuration management, engineering change, product definition, or PLM experience in a regulated industry.
 * Hands-on experience with engineering change workflows, product structures, BOMs, parts, specifications, and controlled product data.
 * Strong understanding of configuration baselines, change traceability, revision control, and auditable engineering records., * Experience in nuclear power, utilities, aerospace, defense, rail, medical devices, or another highly regulated engineering environment.
 * Familiarity with 10 CFR Part 50 Appendix B, ASME NQA-1, or equivalent quality-assurance programs.
 * Experience supporting formal Change Control Boards or multidisciplinary design reviews.

## Description

* We are seeking a Configuration Engineer II to support configuration control and engineering change execution for nuclear products and plant-specific configurations. This role partners with Engineering, Product Definition, Document Control, and program stakeholders to ensure that approved changes are complete, traceable, correctly implemented, and consistent with the authorized product baseline.

What You'll Do

 * Review and disposition engineering Change Orders, Change Actions, and Issues through established change-control and review-board workflows.
 * Perform BOM and MPL where-used analysis to identify affected units, parts, specifications, reference documents, variants, and downstream product structures.
 * Coordinate Change Requests from initiation through technical review, comment resolution, approval, implementation, release, and closeout.
 * Create or revise parts, BOM structures, attributes, lifecycle states, supersessions, alternates, usage rules, logical features, options, and design variants.
 * Verify that approved part, BOM, specification, and document changes are correctly implemented and traceable in the PLM system.
 * Resolve workflow, promotion, release, and configuration-data issues with Engineering and Configuration Management teams., * Produces accurate, complete, and traceable work that follows approved engineering and quality processes.
 * Communicates clearly, raises issues early, and works effectively with multidisciplinary and geographically distributed teams.
 * Balances quality, schedule, stakeholder needs, and regulatory rigor in a fast-moving technical environment.
