This role leads audit project teams, which includes providing oversight to the audit team and communicating results of the engagement to management. The Senior IT Auditor provides technical cyber expertise and training to auditors within the engagement audit team and works closely with Audit Managers to confirm the scope of the audit and to devise an appropriate testing approach to be performed during the engagement. Principal Responsibilities * Establishes and develops strong working relationships and open communication with key stakeholders * Provides training, coaching, and auditing expertise to the audit team * Accountable for own assignments and holding others accountable for theirs including proactively managing expectations * Identify and assess technology risks and related internal controls. * Plan and lead IT audit engagements across technology, cybersecurity, governance, and operational areas. * Establish audit scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements based on risk. * Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of IT processes and controls. * Coordinate with other audit teams and subject matter specialists to ensure appropriate audit coverage. * Apply professional skepticism and sound judgment when evaluating processes, controls, and risk management practices. * Review audit workpapers and documentation for quality and compliance with audit standards. * Communicate audit progress, results, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders and Audit Services management. * Maintain relevant technical and audit knowledge through ongoing professional development.
