## About the Role

* Approximately 1-5 years of software development experience, although depth of relevant hands-on experience matters more than an exact number of years
 * Hands-on experience building AI agents, ideally using MCP and/or A2A
 * Experience with JavaScript, Node.js, and/or TypeScript
 * Exposure to SAP CAP and/or SAP BTP
 * Experience working with APIs, integrations, JSON, and modern application development
 * Ability to demonstrate something you've actually built, whether professionally, personally, or through a substantial academic project
 * Comfortable using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar
 * Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technology in terms of the business problem it solves
 * Comfortable taking ownership and working in a fast-moving environment with limited red tape

## Description

You'll work hands-on building and improving AI agents that connect enterprise applications, APIs, and live business data. The environment utilizes MCP (Model Context Protocol), A2A (Agent2Agent), JavaScript/Node.js, SAP CAP, and SAP BTP.

What You'll Do

 * Design and build new AI agents using MCP and/or A2A frameworks
 * Take agent projects from initial business problem through design, development, testing, deployment, and production
 * Maintain and enhance existing production AI agents
 * Develop applications and services using JavaScript/Node.js and SAP CAP/BTP
 * Integrate agents with enterprise systems through REST APIs, SAP OData services, and other live data sources
 * Build secure, read-only access to source systems and help establish reusable development patterns
 * Troubleshoot issues across multiple applications and integrations
 * Use modern AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code
 * Partner directly with business and technical teams to understand problems and translate them into practical technical solutions
 * Clearly explain technical recommendations to nontechnical stakeholders
 * Contribute to automated testing, GitHub-based development, and technical documentation, This is a brand-new position on a newly forming team, not a backfill. You'll have the opportunity to get in early, work closely with senior leadership, and have significant visibility into how the company's AI agent strategy develops.
