## About the Role

* Strong proficiency in AWS services Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, Secrets Manager, Cognito, Aurora and DynamoDB.
 * Experience with serverless frameworks and event-driven design.
 * Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in AWS.
 * Familiarity with monitoring and logging (CloudWatch, X-Ray).
 * Programming experience in Java.
 * Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
 * Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment., * AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer.
 * Knowledge of and experience using AI development and testing tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot).
 * Experienced with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (ECS/EKS) is a plus.
 * Experience in large scale information technology and database systems utilizing Java technologies and SQL Server.

## Description

In support of modernizing and enhancing a loan origination and servicing system, we're seeking a skilled AWS Cloud Developer to design and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services. This role requires deep knowledge of AWS architecture, services and best practices for building secure, scalable applications in a dynamic, agile delivery environment., * Develop and deploy applications using AWS-native services.

 * In collaboration with business analysts, architects and developers, design serverless solutions using Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, Secrets Manager,Cognito, Aurora and DynamoDB.
 * Implement infrastructure as code using TerraForm or CDK.
 * Optimize application performance and cost within AWS.
 * Ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
 * Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services.
 * Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack.
