## About the Role

* Strong understanding of vulnerability management, risk management, incident response, access controls, and security governance.

 * Professional security certification preferred (CISSP, CISM, GIAC, CCSP, or equivalent).
\n

 * 5+ years of experience in a Security Engineer or similar cybersecurity role.
\n

 * Experience securing SaaS platforms and cloud environments (AWS and Azure).
\n

 * Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, or similar compliance frameworks.
\n

 * Experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, and vulnerability management platforms.
\n

 * Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, WAFs, and network security technologies.
\n

 * Experience with Microsoft 365 Defender, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Sentinel, or similar security platforms.
\n

 * Scripting and automation experience with PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
\n

 * Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
\n

 * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

 * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

## Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Security Engineer to join our team. This is a fully remote position. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity and experience securing SaaS platforms, cloud infrastructure, endpoints, and enterprise systems. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls, managing vulnerability remediation efforts across multiple platforms, monitoring and responding to security threats, and partnering with IT, DevOps, and Development teams to strengthen the organization's security posture.
