* Proven experience leading data platform strategy, architecture and transformation
 * Strong track record of building, scaling and developing high-performing data organisations
 * Previous experience leading people and multidisciplinary teams
 * Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
 * Experience within financial services is highly desirable
 * Pragmatic, commercially minded leadership approach with strong judgement and credibility

## Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 * Define and deliver the organisation's data platform strategy, architecture and roadmap
 * Lead the design and implementation of an AWS-based lakehouse platform, modernising legacy data environments
 * Build, mentor and scale a high performing data organisation across engineering, governance, and platform capabilities
 * Establish best practices for data governance, security, architecture, and reporting standards
 * Oversee platform migration programmes, including the transition of legacy reporting solutions and system decommissioning
