Including test generation, reporting and defect management. * Adaptable team player who understands agile ways of working and shift left principles e.g. CI/CD. * Knowledge of non-functional testing e.g. Performance, Security and Accessibility - including test types, test tools and standards. ## Description A day in the life of a Test Engineer at DWP digital is about working closely with developers, designers and other testers to help deliver services that people across the UK depend on. You'll get involved early in development, shaping designs and building automated tests that give teams confidence their services work properly and continue to work as they evolve. You'll focus on what really matters by taking a risk-based approach to testing, making sure accessibility, usability, security and performance are built in from the start. Alongside keeping CI/CD pipelines running smoothly and sharing clear updates on quality and risk, you'll be encouraged to challenge how things are done and suggest better ways of working to improve DWP services for users.
