## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
 * 8+ years of progressive experience implementing, supporting, or managing enterprise business applications, including significant leadership or program ownership.
 * Strong experience with ERP systems, enterprise integrations, and complex business processes.
 * Proven success leading system implementations, upgrades, migrations, process improvements, and organizational change.
 * Knowledge of application governance, data management, access controls, vendor management, and IT service delivery.
 * Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills.
 * Experience in aerospace, defense, avionics, advanced manufacturing, or another regulated environment strongly preferred.
 * Experience with Microsoft 365, business intelligence tools, workflow automation, and application lifecycle management preferred.

At Universal Avionics, we're looking for an experienced IT Business Systems Manager to lead the strategy, performance, and continuous improvement of our enterprise business applications.

In this role, you'll bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, driving system improvements, strengthening data integrity, and helping teams work smarter across the organization.

What You'll Do

 * Lead the strategy, roadmap, and continuous improvement of enterprise business systems and applications.
 * Oversee the implementation, integration, enhancement, and lifecycle management of ERP and other critical business platforms.
 * Partner with leaders across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, HR, and other functions to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
 * Strengthen data quality, reporting, system integrations, and application governance.
 * Ensure business applications support security, compliance, access controls, and business continuity requirements.
 * Lead and develop the business systems team while promoting accountability, collaboration, and exceptional internal customer support.
 * Manage technology vendors, software licensing, contracts, budgets, and service performance.
 * Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI and workflow automation, to identify practical opportunities for business improvement.
