## Description

Staff C++ Engineer Belfast (Hybrid) My client is a serious engineering business working close to the metal - this is genuine low-level systems work for someone who enjoys understanding what's happening beneath the abstractions. This is a Staff-level role at the top of the engineering team, combining deep technical contribution with the influence to shape direction. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to own meaningful parts of a complex system, make architectural calls and raise the bar for the engineers around them. What you'll be doing Designing and building high-performance, low-level systems in modern C++ Owning architecture and technical direction across complex, performance-critical components Working close to the hardware - memory management, concurrency, optimisation and systems-level problem solving Setting engineering standards and best practices across the team Mentoring and elevating the engineers around you Contributing to technical strategy at a senior level
