## About the Role

* A successfully completed degree in computer science, business informatics, IT security, or a comparable qualification
 * Initial professional experience in the field of IT security, as well as a comprehensive understanding of information security principles, technologies, and standards
 * In-depth knowledge of network security and architecture, as well as experience with cloud security and virtualization
 * Extensive knowledge in the areas of application security and endpoint security, as well as significant experience working with security-related technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), encryption methods, and authentication mechanisms
 * In-depth expertise in incident management, data protection, and quality management, as well as proven experience in handling critical infrastructure and conducting risk analyses
 * You have the ability to identify and assess security risks and derive appropriate countermeasures from them
 * You demonstrate strong analytical thinking skills for solving complex security problems, as well as the ability to clearly communicate security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
 * You have excellent written and spoken German skills (at least C1 level)
 * Willingness to undergo a security clearance check
 * Class B driver's license

## Description

* Planning, implementing, and continuously improving our IT security measures, including the ongoing monitoring of security-related events and incidents
 * In coordination with external partners, you will conduct vulnerability assessments and derive targeted measures from the results
 * Supporting regular security assessments and audits, as well as analyzing and handling security-related incidents in close collaboration with our service providers
 * Designing contingency plans and measures for responding to security incidents
 * Creating and maintaining security-related documentation
 * Raising awareness and training employees on security-critical issues
 * As the central point of contact for IT security issues, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal security standards
 * Participation in business continuity management as well as in the evaluation and oversight of service providers
 * Coordination and collaboration with IT experts, line departments, and external service providers
