## Description

Insight Global is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer for a leading financial services client. This candidate will join a highly collaborative engineering team focused on building and enhancing scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will bring strong Java, Spring Boot, and microservices experience, with a primary focus on backend API development. This role involves working on both new development initiatives and existing applications, improving service reliability, scalability, and performance. Candidates with experience in Kafka and event-driven architectures will have an advantage as the team continues to modernize and expand its distributed systems environment.

Day-to-Day: * Develop and maintain Java-based microservices * Design and enhance backend APIs supporting enterprise applications * Work on existing services to improve functionality and performance * Collaborate with developers, architects, and business stakeholders * Participate in code reviews and best practice discussions * Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis * Support application modernization and continuous improvement efforts * Contribute to technical documentation and solution design
