This is a senior, hands-on role. You will spend most of your time writing code, while also reviewing designs and code, working with the technical leads and architects on new solutions, and mentoring junior developers and analysts., Work on projects for Fixed Income and other business areas, based on what the business needs - Carry out hands-on development as an individual contributor, including writing unit tests and taking part in testing throughout the SDLC (DEV, UAT) - Join daily stand-ups following Agile/Scrum, working closely with TPMs and other members of the development team - Perform design and code reviews for ongoing projects - Follow the bank's coding and design standards, and comply with security and other internal requirements - Take part in change management processes, support production deployments and take responsibility for project delivery - Keep an eye on code quality, application health and security vulnerabilities, and look at new tools and libraries that could improve how the team works - Help maintain project documentation and operational runbooks - Propose new technical solutions, carry out proof-of-concepts (POCs), and work with technical leads and architects on technology evaluations
