## About the Role

* 1-3 years of experience in software development, platform engineering, DevOps, or operations engineering.
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
 * Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
 * Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts and hands-on experience with at least one pipeline tool.
 * Familiarity with AWS cloud services.
 * Familiarity with containerization technologies.
 * Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation.
 * Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel., * Exposure to FISMA, NIST SP 800-53, or ATO processes.
 * Experience with security/vulnerability scanning tools such as SAST, DAST, SCA, or policy-as-code.
 * AWS experience or certification.
 * Federal IT experience.
 * Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.

## Description

* Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated and consistent software delivery.
 * Support progressive deployment strategies such as blue/green and canary deployments.
 * Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS and tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
 * Containerize applications and support secure, optimized, and patched container images.
 * Implement monitoring, logging, vulnerability scanning, and security controls.
 * Support security documentation and evidence for ATO (Authority to Operate) processes.
 * Apply shift-left security practices, including SAST, DAST, SCA, and policy-as-code.
 * Work with modern AI-assisted developer tools as part of the engineering lifecycle.
 * Collaborate with developers, engineers, and security teams while continuously learning and growing.
