## About the Role

The selected candidate will support the program in the capacity of the Ground Integrated Product Team (IPT) Ground Product Line (GPL) Product Manager contributing to the successful integration, test and delivery of the Ground segment. Prior experience as a Systems or Software engineer with extensive domain knowledge of ground systems, networks, and integration & test of enterprise software products is required.

Manages software development activities. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Oversees the design, development, documentation, and testing of software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Ensures software standards are met., Systems Engineering experience with at least one of:

Requirements, CONOPS, ICD, or Architecture

Detailed knowledge and understanding of systems engineering process

Prior experience with satellite ground systems design, development, integration, and test

Experience with Space payload and vehicle management for comms missions

Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE)

Experience with Horizon & Compass enterprise Ground

Product Line (GPL) products

Experience working in an Agile I&T environment, including tools such as Jira and Confluence

Agile experience in a Lead capacity such as RTE, Product Owner or Scrum Master

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance is required

Desired Skills

Experience supporting Systems Engineering technical performance objectives and deliverables (e.g. SRR, PDR, CDR)

Experience working with different engineering disciplines to derive, decompose and verify requirements

Strong knowledge of modern technology frameworks, IP networking, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, APIs, DevSecOps, and data architecture

Experienced in software development using programming and scripting languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, etc.

Experience in application containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, etc.) in a cloud environment (AWS/Azure/Openstack/Openshift)

Proficiency with SysML and Cameo

SAFe Agile Product Owner or Product Manager Certified

Experience with MOSA

Experience working in a fast-paced environment with technical teams across virtual environments

Excellent verbal & written communication skills

Support occasional business travel (up to 25%)

Active Secret or higher clearance
