## About the Role

* A PhD, MSc, or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field - ideally with a focus on AI/ML and/or wireless communications.
 * Knowledge of wireless communications concepts and systems.
 * Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch or JAX.
 * Familiarity with physical AI-related technologies such as AI for robotics, AI infrastructure, or hardware/software co-design.
 * Familiarity with open-source networking simulators such as ns-3 or OMNeT++.
 * Strong analytical thinking with the ability to develop and advance technical proposals and solutions.
 * Ability to scope and lead research efforts, make decisions, and take initiative in a timely manner.
 * Strong collaboration, communication, and innovation skills.

## Description

* Collaborate with an international, diverse team of researchers to develop AI/ML solutions for future mobile networks.
 * Develop machine learning methods and algorithms that address complex problems across the wireless communication stack.
 * Conduct research and experiments, build and evaluate models, and generate results that demonstrate the value of AI for wireless systems.
 * Explore emerging AI techniques and assess how they can be applied to wireless communication challenges.
 * Partner with research, development, and product teams to bring research outcomes into real-world products and technologies.
 * Publish and present findings at leading industry and academic venues.
