## About the Role

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in the industry.
 * 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend or distributed systems development.
 * Strong proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails , with a deep understanding of Rails conventions, lifecycle, and best practices.
 * Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and RESTful API architecture.
 * Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and modern automated testing frameworks (e.g., RSpec).
 * Strong experience in database design, query optimization, and management ( PostgreSQL and NoSQL).
 * Familiarity with cloud platforms ( AWS preferred) and containerization technologies ( Docker, Kubernetes ).
 * Familiarity with microservices, background job processing (Sidekiq, etc.), and event-driven architectures.
 * Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and collaborative communication skills.
