You should have strong working knowledge of: * Electrical and mechanical systems installation, commissioning, operations, and maintenance * Low-voltage systems, including fire, security, and PLCs * NEC, NFPA 70E, NFPA 72, NFPA 25, and applicable fire and life-safety codes * Industrial safety practices, including lockout/tagout, arc-flash protection, OSHA requirements, and applicable state regulations * Critical monitoring and Building Management Systems * Data trending, tracking, analysis, troubleshooting, and root-cause problem solving Hands-on experience with critical infrastructure such as, * Solid experience in data center and/or critical facilities operations * Experience supervising, developing, and motivating critical facilities operations and maintenance teams * Strong leadership and communication skills * Ability to train technical teams on electrical and mechanical systems and procedures * Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment * Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project ## Description We are looking for a Supervisor, Critical Facilities Operations to lead our Data Center Technicians and Facilities Technicians and support the safe, reliable operation of our critical infrastructure. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with strong electrical and mechanical critical facilities experience who can lead a team while maintaining the high standards of safety, reliability, and uptime required in a mission-critical data center environment. What you'll be doing * Supervise and provide day-to-day direction to Data Center Technicians and Facilities Technicians. * Oversee the operation and maintenance of critical data center infrastructure, including electrical, cooling, mechanical, and life-safety systems. * Coordinate daily operations, preventive maintenance, and critical and non-critical maintenance activities. * Ensure work complies with local, state, and federal fire, health, life-safety, and environmental requirements. * Lead, train, and develop the Critical Facilities Operations team on equipment, preventive maintenance, quality standards, procedures, and processes. * Manage shift assignments, timekeeping reviews and approvals, and PTO approvals for assigned team members. * Write and review Method of Procedures (MOPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Standard Method of Procedures (SMPs). * Supervise the safe and successful execution of critical and non-critical maintenance procedures. * Analyze equipment performance, operating conditions, and trends to improve safety, reliability, efficiency, equipment life, and cost effectiveness. * Support customer installations and help ensure customer SLA requirements are met. * Promote a rigorous, safety-focused, process-driven team environment., * 480/277V and 208/120V electrical generation and distribution systems * Diesel-powered AC generator plants up to 2MW * Static UPS systems, static switches, and battery systems * PLC and relay logic controls * Power monitoring and data center power distribution systems * VFD drives * Large centrifugal chillers and cooling towers * CRAC units and HVAC equipment * Chilled and condenser water systems * Building Management and industrial PLC control systems * Emergency standby diesel generator systems * Fuel/oil systems and storage tanks * Fire protection, sprinkler, and dry standpipe systems * Pumps, domestic water systems, and backflow prevention devices
