At Invetech, you will work across the full product development lifecycle, from early technical concepts through detailed design, verification, validation and transfer to manufacture. We are looking for a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer who enjoys solving difficult technical problems, working closely with multidisciplinary teams, and building reliable software for products where quality, safety and usability matter., As a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer, you will help shape the software architecture and implementation of embedded systems used in advanced healthcare and life-science products. You will contribute hands-on engineering expertise while also supporting technical decision-making, design reviews, planning and cross-functional alignment. This is a role for someone who wants technical challenge, product impact and the opportunity to work on varied projects rather than a narrow single-product remit. What You Will Do * Design, develop, debug and maintain embedded firmware and software for medical, life-science and diagnostic products. * Contribute to firmware architecture, subsystem design and hardware/software interface definition. * Develop high-quality software using structured software development lifecycle practices, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, reviews, testing, verification and documentation. * Work closely with electronics, systems, mechanical, quality and project teams to deliver integrated product solutions. * Debug software and hardware interactions using appropriate tools, test equipment and engineering judgement. * Support unit testing, integration testing, verification activities and defect resolution. * Participate in design reviews, code reviews and test reviews. * Help plan and adapt work within Agile or iterative development environments as product needs evolve. * Support continuous improvement of software engineering practices and tools to improve quality and delivery. * Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other engineers where appropriate.
