This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable, containerized applications across Kubernetes platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering expertise with hands-on Kubernetes administration experience and a passion for building reliable, automated, cloud-native solutions. In this role, you will partner closely with DevOps and Platform Engineering teams to enhance deployment automation, improve system resiliency, and optimize Kubernetes infrastructure. You will play a key role in supporting production environments, troubleshooting complex distributed systems, and driving best practices across container orchestration, observability, and infrastructure automation efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who thrives in collaborative Agile environments and enjoys solving challenging technical problems at scale. Responsibilities: Design, develop, deploy, and support scalable containerized applications in Kubernetes environments (Kubeadm, RKE2). Create and maintain Kubernetes resources including Deployments, Services, Ingresses, ConfigMaps, and Secrets. Build, optimize, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery workflows. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and runtime issues across Kubernetes clusters. Monitor system health, application performance, and resource utilization using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana. Develop and enhance observability solutions including centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting platforms. Collaborate with DevOps and Platform Engineering teams to improve system reliability, scalability, and automation. Support infrastructure-as-code initiatives utilizing Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and other automation tools. Research and implement emerging cloud-native technologies, containerization strategies, and Kubernetes best practices. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and technical design discussions.
