## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
 * Minimum of 5 years of experience in system administration
 * Active TS/SCI w/ Poly
 * Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux environments
 * Basic understanding of networking concepts
 * Strong problem-solving and communication skills
 * Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 requirements (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, or equivalent)

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Systems Administrator to join our team! In this role you will get to work with a small talented team of engineers that are focusing on building systems, networks and data transfer.

What You'll Be Doing:

 * Assist in the installation and configuration of operating systems and applications
 * Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
 * Apply security patches and updates
 * Maintain system documentation and inventory
 * Provide technical support to end-users
 * Escalate complex issues to senior staff
 * Support backup and recovery operations
