## About the Role

We are looking for strong experience in MOST of the following areas:

 * 5-8+ years of Embedded Linux development using C/C++
 * OpenWrt development including packages, feeds, Kconfig, and patch management
 * Linux kernel networking stack
 * TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, MAP-T, routing protocols (RIPv2, OSPF)
 * WiFi 6/6E/7 (802.11ax/be) technologies
 * Qualcomm IPQ and/or Broadcom platforms
 * Device tree, kernel modules, board bring-up
 * Advanced troubleshooting of kernel panics, watchdogs, memory leaks, and performance issues
 * Python and Shell scripting
 * Technical leadership and mentoring experience
 * Strong Git/GitLab workflow knowledge

Preferred Skills

Candidates with the following experience will receive priority consideration:

 * OpenSync, OVSDB, Plume Cloud
 * Open vSwitch (OVS)
 * QCA NSS/PPE hardware acceleration

We have an onsite requirement for a highly experienced Senior Embedded Firmware Developer to support a major broadband networking program in Denver (Englewood), Colorado.

We are looking for strong candidates with extensive hands-on experience in embedded Linux, OpenWrt, networking protocols, and WiFi technologies., The selected candidate will design, develop, and maintain firmware for WiFi 6/6E/7 residential gateway/router platforms deployed at large scale. The role requires deep technical expertise, architecture-level thinking, leadership capabilities, and collaboration across firmware, cloud, test, and vendor teams.
