In this role, you will build modern user interfaces with React and TypeScript, develop scalable backend services using Java and Node.js, and deploy containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes. You will work across the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with engineers, product owners, mission users, and operational stakeholders to deliver reliable, mission-focused capabilities in demanding operational environments. What You'll Be Doing: * Design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain full-stack software applications based on customer and mission requirements. * Build modern, responsive, and maintainable user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and related UI technologies. * Translate UI/UX designs and prototypes into functional web applications. * Develop scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, and related frameworks. * Design, implement, and integrate RESTful APIs, WebSocket services, and other web services. * Develop applications that interact with relational and NoSQL databases. * Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes. * Support application development and deployment across the full software development lifecycle. * Apply DevSecOps practices, including Git-based version control, peer code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration and delivery. * Troubleshoot front-end, backend, API, database, and deployment issues. * Perform root-cause analysis and implement improvements to application performance, reliability, scalability, and security. * Collaborate with product owners, software engineers, developers, system administrators, cybersecurity professionals, and operational stakeholders. * Contribute to technical documentation, design reviews, coding standards, and software development processes. * Support the delivery of software for operational environments that may include limited-bandwidth or disconnected conditions.
