## About the Role

* Extensive hands-on experience designing, developing and supporting enterprise applications using C# and Microsoft .NET Framework technologies.
 * Strong WinForms and WPF development experience, with the ability to work confidently within mixed C# and VB.NET environments.
 * Proven experience as a Lead Developer, Technical Lead or Design Authority within enterprise-scale environments.
 * Demonstrable experience reviewing code, approving technical designs and setting development standards.
 * Strong knowledge of REST APIs, web services, messaging platforms and complex integration architectures.
 * Experience troubleshooting Oracle databases, SQL issues and data-layer challenges.
 * Strong understanding of Windows Services, IIS-hosted applications and multi-tier enterprise platforms.
 * Experience leading technical incident resolution, root cause analysis and service improvement initiatives.
 * Proven ability to govern releases across development, test and production environments.
 * Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical risks and recommendations to non-technical audiences.

## Description

* Act as the technical lead, application SME and design authority for application development, integrations and platform change.
 * Remain hands-on with C#, VB.NET, WinForms, WPF and .NET Framework development, delivering complex enhancements and resolving priority defects.
 * Review and approve solution designs, technical specifications, development approaches and code changes.
 * Coordinate development activity across developers, QA teams, business analysts, operational teams and stakeholders.
 * Provide mentoring, technical guidance and direction on coding standards, design patterns, testing and maintainability.
 * Assess technical impacts, dependencies, risks and operational implications of proposed changes.
 * Lead development estimation, technical planning, defect triage and prioritisation activities.
 * Own technical sign-off for releases and ensure robust deployment, rollback, validation and support readiness processes.
 * Act as the primary escalation point for complex incidents, integration failures and recurring service issues.
 * Lead root cause investigations and service improvement initiatives across application, data and integration layers.
 * Maintain oversight of application architecture, technical debt, platform health and modernisation opportunities.
 * Drive technical readiness for service transition and post-transition stabilisation.
