## About the Role

 * Minimum of high school diploma or GED
 * Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
 * Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted
 * Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position
 * Willingness to utilize powered lifting equipment, jib, crane or hoists
 * Must be open to working all required shift hours, including overtime and weekends, as needed

Desired:

 * Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
 * Strong computer skills, familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
 * Experience with MRP/ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc)
 * Prior experience within the aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic industries
 * Prior CDL experience preferred
 * Experience in organizing files and documents

## Description

* Coordination with all applicable Blue Origin departments to ensure on-time delivery of raw material, parts, consumables and tooling to and from the appropriate work centers
 * Enforce completion of work center buyoffs prior to moving hardware to the next work center
 * Ensure hardware and equipment are properly staged for inter-plant transportation/movement
 * Cross-reference and confirm part quantity, part number, serial number, labeling and routing sheet persist with hardware throughout plant movements
 * Ensure inventory movements are properly transacted and accurate
 * Contribute to zero-defect philosophy by escalating observed non-conformance or design/manufacturing issues that deviate from the nominal process
 * Support inventory deviation investigations found within work centers
 * Participate in Tier II production meetings to communicate part status information to management/leadership
 * Ensure smooth and efficient process flow by contributing to development/refinement of queuing software
 * DOT compliance, Export Control Regulations

 * Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing, vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.
