Mechanical design or engineering experience

## Description

We are seeking a Design Engineer to join a growing industrial automation team in Beloit, WI. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys designing custom equipment, solving mechanical challenges, and seeing projects move from concept through manufacturing and installation.
What You'll Do
Design custom machinery, automation equipment, and mechanical systems
Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings
Develop mechanical layouts and equipment designs based on project requirements
Select mechanical components and help develop bills of materials
Work closely with engineering, controls, manufacturing, and project teams
Review designs for functionality, manufacturability, and accuracy
Support equipment assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and installation
Make design updates and improvements throughout the project
Communicate with customers and vendors when needed
