## About the Role

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
 * Several years of experience in software development and IT project management.
 * Proven experience managing Agile software development projects.
 * Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
 * Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
 * Ability to manage priorities, timelines, and project risks effectively.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
 * Fluent in English and at least one Belgian national language.

Requirements

 * Proven experience as an IT Project Manager in complex software development environments.
 * Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
 * Experience leading application modernization and digital transformation projects.
 * Good understanding of .NET (C#), microservices, APIs (REST/gRPC), and modern web applications.
 * Experience working with Angular and SPA architectures is an advantage.Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, DevOps practices, and deployment processes.
 * Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.
 * Understanding of cybersecurity principles and Security by Design.
 * Experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
 * Knowledge of UML and BPMN modeling.Experience in highly regulated environments is considered a plus.
 * Knowledge of police, government, or public sector environments is a strong advantage.

## Description

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the modernization of a critical application within a public sector environment. You will coordinate development teams, manage stakeholders, oversee Agile delivery, and drive the transition from a legacy system to a modern web-based solution., * Manage the maintenance and evolution of a legacy Windows-based application.

 * Lead the migration towards a modern web-based solution.Coordinate development, testing, DevOps, and deployment activities.
 * Oversee project planning, execution, risks, and resource allocation.
 * Ensure Agile ceremonies are properly conducted, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
 * Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and steering committees.
 * Align business objectives with technical execution.
 * Ensure proper documentation, code governance, and delivery standards.
 * Foster collaboration between technical teams, management, and end users.
 * Support decision-making and help remove delivery roadblocks.
