## About the Role

* 1-2 years commercial experience as an AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer or Software Engineer with a strong AI focus.
 * Experience building and deploying AI or machine learning solutions in production environments.
 * Strong Python development skills and experience working with APIs.
 * Experience with Microsoft Azure AI services, Azure OpenAI or similar cloud-based AI platforms.
 * Understanding of generative AI, large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
 * Knowledge of software engineering best practices, version control, testing and CI/CD.

Nice to Have

 * Experience with Azure AI Foundry or Azure AI Search.
 * Exposure to vector databases, embeddings and document retrieval pipelines.
 * Experience with LangChain, LangGraph or similar AI development frameworks.
 * Knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow or scikit-learn.
 * Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or deploying AI workloads at scale.
 * Previous experience within fintech, banking or other regulated financial services environments.

* Design, develop and deploy AI solutions using Microsoft Azure and modern AI technologies.
 * Build and integrate generative AI applications, including LLM-powered solutions.
 * Develop AI workflows, APIs and services that integrate with existing business systems.
 * Work with data and engineering teams to prepare data and optimise AI model performance.
 * Implement responsible AI practices, security controls and appropriate governance.
 * Support the deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement of AI solutions.
