## About the Role

* Good understanding of a range of electronic technologies and a good understand of one of the Hardware/Systems/Software engineering lifecycles
 * Experience of working with external supplies
 * Degree qualified (or equivalent)
 * Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
 * Demonstrate team working skills

It would be nice if you had:

 * Good understanding of digital/analogue/RF systems with ESM and ECM
 * Test equipment exposure including operating/maintaining equipment
 * Experience of working in the defence electronics sector, ideally with airborne sensor systems
 * DOORS or equivalent requirements capture tool
 * LabVIEW and TestStand Experience, or equivalent software test automation tools

Travel within the UK and Europe may be required for this role.

## Description

* The scope of work can range from design and technical problem solving to test solution development
 * Support the requirements capture for Test Equipment Requirement Specifications (TERS)
 * Control of Parts and Documentation including change management
 * Ensure effective implementation of the company's Life-cycle design reviews
 * Be part of a team that develops the hardware/software test solution including the requirements specification through to testing
 * Software development using LabVIEW & Test Stand
 * Support the management of Suppliers and project Make/Buy decisions as required
 * Identify technical risks and mitigation strategies e.g. with test solutions or obsolescence
