## About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with proven years of experience, including significant expertise in data migration.

You'll lead and assure end-to-end data migration solutions, transforming legacy platforms into scalable, secure cloud-based data environments, with a strong focus on data quality, integrity and governance.

Key requirements:

 * Solid Data Engineering experience, with strong data migration expertise.
 * Energy & Utilities experience, ideally across asset/network management, telemetry or SCADA data.
 * Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and Microsoft Azure.
 * Expertise in ETL/ELT, data ingestion, transformation, validation and reconciliation.
 * Strong understanding of DataOps, CI/CD, Azure DevOps and Git.
 * Experience with data quality, governance, metadata, lineage and cataloguing.
 * Ability to design scalable dimensional and canonical data models.
 * Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.
 * Experience leading complex migration programmes and mentoring engineering teams.
