## About the Role

* Strong experience in Platform Engineering, SRE, DevOps or Software Engineering
 * Deep hands-on Kubernetes experience in production environments
 * Strong Terraform and Infrastructure as Code expertise
 * Linux administration and automation experience
 * Software development or scripting experience (Python, Go, Bash or similar)
 * Experience designing and operating cloud-native platforms
 * Strong understanding of CI/CD, GitOps and modern engineering practices

Nice to Have

 * ArgoCD
 * Grafana and Prometheus
 * Ansible
 * AWS, Azure, GCP or OpenStack
 * Experience working within SaaS environments

## Description

We're partnering with a fast-growing SaaS organisation that delivers critical services to thousands of users across the UK. As they continue to scale, they're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help shape the future of their cloud platform and developer ecosystem.

This is not a traditional infrastructure support role and is hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days WFH). We're looking for an engineer with a strong software development, platform engineering or SRE background who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, building scalable platforms, and enabling engineering teams to deliver software efficiently.
What You'll Be Doing

 * Design and build scalable platform solutions to support current and future product requirements
 * Own and evolve Kubernetes-based environments, driving reliability, scalability and performance
 * Partner closely with software engineering teams to improve developer experience and platform capabilities
 * Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code and automation frameworks
 * Develop tooling and self-service capabilities for internal engineering teams
 * Improve platform observability, monitoring and operational excellence
 * Drive platform architecture decisions and engineering best practices
