Senior Network Deployment Engineer Data Center Infrastructure Location : Santa clara,CA Duration: 12 months+ Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Deployment Engineer to build, deploy, validate, and support large-scale data center network infrastructure. This role focuses on hands-on deployment of modern Ethernet-based data center fabrics, routing and switching infrastructure, and production network environments. The ideal candidate has strong experience deploying BGP, EVPN/VXLAN, and spine-leaf data center networks in enterprise, cloud, ISP, or hyperscale environments. Experience with AI networking technologies such as RoCEv2 or InfiniBand is a plus, but not required. Key Responsibilities

 * Deploy, configure, and validate large-scale Ethernet-based data center networks.
 * Build and support spine-leaf fabrics using EVPN/VXLAN.
 * Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS.
 * Perform network implementations, migrations, hardware refreshes, and production cutovers.
 * Execute deployment plans, MOPs, and change activities for production environments.
 * Validate network health, connectivity, redundancy, and performance after deployment.
 * Troubleshoot Layer 2, Layer 3, routing, switching, optics, and connectivity issues.
 * Work closely with architecture, systems, cloud, and operations teams during deployments.
 * Automate deployment and validation tasks using Python, Ansible, or similar tools.
 * Produce deployment documentation, implementation guides, and operational runbooks.
