## About the Role

The candidate must be a hands-on developer blending enterprise Java backend skills with modern AI/LLM framework experience.

 * Core Backend: 5+ years of hands-on Java development. Strong expertise in the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, MVC, Data, Security).
 * AI/LLM Experience: Hands-on exposure to agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI), RAG patterns, vector databases, embedding models, and semantic search.
 * Frontend: Proficiency in React and/or Angular (TypeScript, RxJS, HTML, CSS).
 * Database & Messaging: SQL and NoSQL databases (data modeling, optimization) and enterprise messaging systems/queues.
 * Cloud & DevOps: Azure cloud services, OpenShift, CI/CD pipelines, and Unix/Linux environments.
 * Architecture: Solid grasp of design patterns, scalable architecture principles, and asynchronous processing.

Soft Skills & Team Dynamics

 * Mentorship: Must be capable of acting as a technical mentor to junior developers (without functioning as a formal people manager).
 * Team: Will be joining a 50-person Agile (Scrum/Kanban) AI Lab team.
 * Communication: Excellent spoken and written English; must be able to translate complex technical/AI topics to Product Owners, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders.
