## About the Role

Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
Experience Dynatrace for application monitoring and performance tuning.
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for project and pipeline management.
Several years of experience as an IT Operations Manager / Applications Manager for Business-critical IT-Applications.
Strong knowledge of ITIL, ServiceNow, JIRA, Azure DevOps and Confluence.
Expertise in Cloud and container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes) and CI/CD processes including VM provisioning.
Excellent communication and leadership skills; fluent in English (German is a plus).
Problem-solving mindset and ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
Strong customer and service orientation.

## Description

Ensure 24/7 availability of a global business-critical application: You are responsible for the 24/7 operations for the Global Crew Management System of 6 Carnival Brands; System is used on > 60 ships and 6 Carnival Brands for Crew Planning and Payroll.
Implement, own and continuously improve Incident, Problem and Change Management processes oriented on ITIL standards and in close cooperation with user organizations as well as Software Delivery Organizations.
Coordinate service providers and internal teams for helpdesk, infrastructure, and application support.
Oversee monitoring and performance optimization of the application and related infrastructure (Cloud, Containers, CI/CD pipelines).
Ensure compliance and security, including regular audits (SOX) and disaster recovery testing.
Stakeholder management: Collaborate closely with business units, software delivery teams, and external partners.
Manage budget and resource planning for operational activities.
