This role leads a team of SAP Basis professionals to ensure the high availability, performance, stability, and scalability of SAP environments, including SAP S/4HANA (Private Cloud), SAP ECC (R/3), and related components. Combining strong technical expertise with effective leadership capabilities, the role drives operational excellence and supports the execution of strategic SAP initiatives across the organization. SAP Operations & Service Delivery * Ensure stable, secure, and uninterrupted operation of SAP systems across all supported regions * Manage and optimize SAP landscapes including S/4HANA (Private Cloud), SAP ECC (R/3), and related platforms * Organize and oversee on-call support and incident management processes * Manage external service providers and ensure delivery in line with defined SLAs and performance standards. Technical Oversight * Act as a hands-on expert for SAP Basis operations, providing guidance on complex technical topics * Oversee system upgrades, patches, kernel updates, and support package implementations * Monitor system performance and implement optimization measures to ensure efficiency and scalability * Define and enforce SAP Basis standards, best practices, and operational procedures. Global Scope & Governance * Assume responsibility for SAP Basis operations across additional global regions, ensuring consistent service quality and system availability * Standardize processes, tools, and governance models across regions * Ensure alignment with global IT strategy, architecture standards, and security requirements.
