## About the Role

* Degree in computer science, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering or comparable qualification
 * Ideally previous experience as software architect/technical lead in larger software projects (e.g. automotive, aerospace, scientific computing or gaming)
 * Experience with distributed simulation frameworks (HLA), and with system-of-systems simulation is a plus
 * Experience with development and simulation of networks and communication systems and related protocols/technologies is a plus
 * Proficiency in modern C++ (or similar languages)
 * Experience with applicable NATO standards and processes, and/or knowledge of related process standards from adjacent fields (such as ECSS-E-ST-40C and ECSS-Q-ST-80C or DO-178C) would be an advantage
 * Strong competence in self-organizing and work planning
 * High motivation, pro-active working approach, and strong sense of responsibility
 * Strong competence in working in a multicultural team
 * Ability and willingness to achieve a German security clearance
 * Fluency in both spoken and written English

## Description

* Creation and refinement of technical concepts, requirements and software architecture
 * Development, implementation and test of the simulators
 * Supporting technical reviews and support project milestone reviews
 * Coordination with customers and internal software teams for the design, for reviews and the timely delivery of simulators
