## About the Role

* Experience with Web Services and APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST and WS standards).
 * Strong technical experience with XML and Java.
 * Knowledge of Workday implementation tools (Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, and iLoad).
 * Understand basic database architecture, tables, functional interactions, and recognize and understand impacts to downstream systems.
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and leadership.
 * Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
 * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle both planned and unplanned responsibilities.
 * Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution.
 * Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
 * Solid understanding of Workday security features and controls.
 * Ability to accurately collect information to understand and assess functional department needs and situation.
 * Working knowledge of HR/Finance/supply chain information systems, data models, organization structures and roles.
 * Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with functional and IT teams.
 * Strong attention to detail.
 * Comfortable enforcing adherence to security policies and practices., * Bachelor's Degree in relevant technical field (Information Technology, Computer Science, Software, Engineering or related technical discipline) or equivalent combination of training and work experience.
 * 2+ years of experience with HR/Finance/SC application security.
 * HR/Finance/SC functional experience preferred.
 * Workday PRO Certification preferred.

## Description

* Manage system security within the architecture of the HR/Finance/Supply Chain system and middleware.
 * Perform routine break/fix support and regression testing and support the inbound/outbound interfaces to the system and middleware.
 * Ensure accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, coding, clear documentation and problem resolution.
 * Analyze and translate functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications.
 * Understand and follow Data Governance and ensure attention to data quality.
 * Understand and follow defined integration/development standards and best practices.
 * Understand and ensure security and data privacy standards.
 * Configure, maintain and advise on security within Workday application. This includes domain security policies, roles, and role assignments.
 * Coordinate with vendors to understand new technology scope and association with new functionality and security.
 * Develop and maintain awareness of data security and comply with policies and procedures.
 * Participate in report reviews, including understanding and ensuring security and data privacy standards.
 * Stay updated on new security features within the application's future roadmap, and implement where possible.
 * Perform audits on system roles and access logs to ensure accuracy.
 * Demonstrate proof of security controls during internal and external audits.
 * May be required to be on call.
