## About the Role

* Demonstrated Linux systems administration experience and command-line proficiency.
 * Bash and Python scripting to automate operational and maintenance tasks.
 * Experience installing, configuring, and supporting COTS, GOTS, and FOSS software across large-scale Linux clusters.
 * Familiarity with Agency STE/STN security compliance requirements and established policies.
 * Broad understanding of server components, including compute, storage arrays, network fabrics, memory architectures, and database technologies.
 * Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and experience with SaltStack and Ansible.
 * Hands-on knowledge of Docker, Podman, and containerd.
 * Familiarity with Fibre Channel-attached storage systems.
 * Familiarity with Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM) for managing virtualized Linux environments.

Desired Skills

 * Familiarity with Kubernetes container orchestration.
 * Familiarity with distributed file systems such as Weka, Ceph, GPFS, and HDFS.
 * Experience with Jira and Confluence.

## Description
