## About the Role

* Mandatory industry experience: Energy, Oil & Gas, Commodity Trading, Utilities, or Capital Markets.
 * Strong experience in data architecture, data engineering, enterprise architecture, or technical leadership.
 * Expertise in modern Data Product and Data Mesh concepts.
 * Experience designing and implementing cloud-native data platforms using:

 * Databricks
 * Azure Data Platform Services
 * AWS Data Services
 * Snowflake - preferred
 * Strong experience with Lakehouse architecture, data modeling, ETL/ELT, data integration, and data governance.
 * Familiarity with real-time, streaming, and event-driven architecture.
 * Experience supporting trading, risk, scheduling, settlements, market operations, or other complex financial/operational data workflows.
 * Experience establishing architecture governance boards, enterprise standards, and reusable architecture patterns.
 * Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
 * Cloud architecture and/or Databricks certifications are preferred.

## Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering Manager to lead enterprise data architecture, data engineering, cloud modernization, and integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing modern cloud data platforms and Lakehouse architectures, along with proven leadership experience across enterprise data strategy, governance, integration, and data products.
Must have industry experience in Energy, Oil & Gas, Commodity Trading, Utilities, or Capital Markets.
