## Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Test Automation Engineer to lead automation testing initiatives across web, mobile, API, and backend platforms. The ideal candidate will combine deep hands-on automation expertise with leadership experience, serving as a technical lead responsible for automation framework development, test strategy, estimation, delivery oversight, and team mentoring.

This role requires a technical leader who can design scalable automation solutions, resolve complex coding challenges, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive quality across the software development lifecycle., * Lead automation testing efforts for web, mobile, API, and backend applications.

 * Design, develop, and enhance robust automation frameworks from scratch.
 * Create and maintain automated test suites using Java, Selenium WebDriver, Appium, and related technologies.
 * Develop and execute API test automation using tools such as REST Assured, Postman, or similar frameworks.
 * Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
 * Validate application data and backend processing through SQL and database testing.
 * Define test strategies, testing approaches, effort estimates, and quality metrics.
 * Troubleshoot automation failures and provide technical guidance to team members.
 * Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality objectives are met.
 * Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, and retrospectives.
 * Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical direction to QA and automation team members.
 * Generate project status reports, testing metrics, and quality dashboards for leadership and stakeholders.
