## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 5+ years of related experience/training with mold design experience.
 * Experience/knowledge of mold design.
 * Knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
 * Knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software.

## Description

* Create preform designs, mold assembly drawings, and mold part drawings using 2D/3D CAD.
 * Prepare mold modification drawings and revision records.
 * Read customer drawings/models/samples and create 3D models and 2D drawings.
 * Evaluate mold design feasibility, cavitation, and cycle time.
 * Plan and support pilot and production mold trials.
 * Maintain mold drawings, specifications, BOMs, and related data.
 * Conduct dimensional, wall thickness, drop, and top load/compression testing of sample containers.
 * Communicate with sales, factories, subsidiaries, customers, and HQ.
 * Operate a 3D scanner for design evaluation and CAD modeling support.
