This role involves project coordination, technical leadership, and proactive monitoring to maintain high levels of service availability and performance. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to strategic storage initiatives and support complex SAN environments. Responsibilities * Function as a task force or committee member as approved by the Director of Infrastructure Planning. * Perform technical duties within the Storage Management team to enhance SAN function and availability. * Monitor daily performance of SAN systems and report system status relative to performance guidelines. * Manage all IT storage functions, including planning, configuration, operations, and performance tuning of SAN hardware and software. * Analyze and evaluate user requests for SAN storage, technical operations, services, and support. * Participate in strategic planning to develop and maintain SAN management processes aligned with organizational goals. * Update reporting mechanisms to reflect project progression and system performance. * Research, design, and implement SAN components such as software, hardware, security policies, and operational procedures. * Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and emerging SAN technologies to ensure continuous improvement. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of SAN infrastructure.
