## About the Role

* The candidate is required to hold an NC/HNC or an equivalent qualification / experience in relatable discipline subject.

 * Have an understanding of the use of one or more parametric/spec driven CAD system both in a 3D & 2D environment.
 * Familiarity with shipbuilding/ship repair terminology and practices.
 * Be proficient in the use of one or more parametric/spec driven CAD system both in a 3D & 2D environment.
 * FORAN.
 * Windchill.

Experience:

 * The successful candidate will ideally have post-graduate experience working in the naval maritime domain or other highly regulated industry.

## Description

* Creation of CAD Models and Drawings: Producing detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings to meet required standards.
 * Design Deliverables: Ensuring all design deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
 * Liaise with colleagues and stakeholders during appropriate design phases to ensure coordination and functionality of design.
 * Technical Support: Providing technical support during the construction and installation phases.
 * Perform self-verification of work.
 * Reporting of technical progress and issues to line management.
 * Be aware of and ensure that safety, health and environmental requirements are implemented
 * Assist with the maintenance and improvement in quality standards of outputs.
